5 - 7 PM - Marathon Expo at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Spearfish. Includes packet-pickup.

Sat Aug 16
9 AM - 5 PM - Marathon Expo at the Holiday Inn Convention Center in Spearfish. Includes packet-pickup and the events listed below.

Expo Events include:
9 - 10 AM - Creative Writing Workshop
(Capturing running-released power by Wendy Mendoza) Garden Area

1 - 2 PM - Women Who Dare Forum
(Enjoy the stories of extraordinary women) Convention Center Lobby

5 PM - Dr. JoAnn Owens-Nausler
A dynamite speaker who walks the talk.

6 PM - 'Taste of Italy' Pasta Party
includes Style Show by Kathleen's Boutique (nurture your body inside and out!)
$15 charge - RSVP by August 8th
6 PM - Saturday August 16th

Sun Aug 17

NO PACKET PICKUP ON RACE DAY!

4 AM - Buses leave from the Holiday Inn in Spearfish
4:15 AM - Buses leave from the Spearfish City Park (finish line)
(All participants are picked up at either location to be bussed to the respective start lines)
6 AM - Start time for both races!!

Temperature at the start should be about 45 degrees and by NOON should be in the mid 70's.
